J. Harold Seagle of Asheville, NC is the operator of SeaEagleRacing and the primary driver. Mr. Seagle holds a National Targa Racing License through Fédération International de l'Automobile (FIA) amd has previously earned an SCCA competition license. Having recently moved to automobile racing, he has been primarily involved in motorcycle racing for many years. He holds competition licenses for both the Championship Cup Series and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing. He has raced in classes including Light Weight Superbike, Light Weight Sportsman and GT 3, with several podium finishes in the Championship Cup Series at Daytona International Speedway.
Between September 13 and 207, 2008 the team competed in their 3rd running of the Targa Newfoundland race/rally, winning the much sought after Targa Gold Plate and finishing 1st in their racing class. The Targa Newfoundland, known as the “iron man” of motorsports competition, is a 6 day, 2200 killometer race around the rugged shore line and across Newfoundland. The Targa is an international rally and is typically covered in the US in several national publications and on the SPEED channel.
Sea Eagle Racing competed in the East Coast Timing Assn. land speed races in Maxton, NC on May 19 and 20, 2007, bringing home 2 land speed records in two separate divisions.
In August of 2009, the team expanded the racing effort to Hill Climb competitions, running the rally car in the Eagle's Nest Hill Climb, bringing home the trophy for First in class and setting a new course record for the ITR class.

Mr. Seagle’s primary occupation is in the practice of law.

Stan Pendergraft of Charlotte, NC is the Navigator and co-driver for SeaEagleRacing. Mr. Pendergraft is currently Vice President of the Carolinas Region of the Porsche Club of America and has previously served in many capacities with that organization including, Area Director, PorscheFest Chairman and other regional offices. Mr. Pendergraft also has high speed driving training through the Porsche Club of America.
Mr. Pendergraft is associated with and represents Hendrick Porsche, Charlotte, N.C. in the marketing of Porsche automobiles.
